What is the certificate scope? The scope statement should explicitly cover the material handling, waste management, and disposal activities relevant to IT asset processing. A certificate covering only office administration activities provides no environmental assurance for ITAD operations.

ISO 14001 is currently under revision, with an updated standard expected in 2026. The revision builds on the trusted ISO 14001:2015 framework while introducing clearer alignment with today’s environmental priorities, including:
